His Glory

"But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air and they shall tell thee: Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.  Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this?  In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind" (Job 12: 7-10).

The wonderful works of our Father are seen each day throughout creation.  He is a splendor, who can be likened to the Most High?  Truly, no one is like Him, for mere men cannot measure His ways and thoughts.  Sadly, mankind has embraced unrighteousness desiring to build a name for themselves, continuing to seek power, immortality and become the ultimate decision-maker of their life and their destiny instead of embracing and giving praise to the "giver" of life.

As I view the splendor of our Creator, I remain in complete awe.  The world is in utter chaos and my Father's grace allows me to see order via His creation and for this, I truly give Him praise.  No man or woman can comprehend all things pertaining to creation and life (see Job 38Job 39).  Andwhat is more beautiful? He has not changed! Simply take a deep breath or a look around, the evidence is there – the sun continues to rise and set, the stars shine and the season’s change all of which gives me great joy and hope in the midst of so much confusion.

Below is a small clip and an article by The WildLife News of just how mighty the hand of the LORD is upon the earth. The clip is a true testament of the scripture referenced at the beginning of this blog. Oh, how mighty is our Father to balance all of creation and fortify its purpose through every living creature.  I am reminded of a Psalm of David as he proclaimed "O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!...Who hast set thy glory above the heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him?" (Psalm 8:1, 3-4).  We are in need of Him yet with much folly, men and women declare greatness and power desiring dominion over all things absent the need of a Creator.

Folks, no matter what message comes forth by the voice of men stating how great "humans" are, no matter what symbolism or statues they errect or no matter how much technology is available one truth remains constant and that is"Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting You are God" (Psalm 90:2).  Therefore, we know He is constant for He is eternal having no beginning and no end.  We are able to witness His eternal nature through creation (Romans 1:20) and despite this undeniable evidence most of humanity faulters believing in their own ability and what they can see as the truth. The chaos will continue, the pride of this life will grow and many will fall away from their foundation but believers must remain steadfast.  Father, I thank you for the words that our dear brother Paul declared…

"But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence" (I Corinthians 1:27-29).

Who among all the inhabitants of the earth is wiser than the Most High? Who established the heavens and the earth? There is none like Him and we, as believers, have to know and confirm our faith especially now, discerning the days are evil. Many will bring false accusations against the Most High even questioning His existence and denying His diety. They will declare themselves wise and powerful but a wise man will not glory in his own wisdom, his own might or his own riches for he knows all glory belongs to our Father through all the ages of eternity. I pray all believers will continue to study the word and work daily to be transformed in Him – Peace and Love!
